Tangs Academy offers Sec 1 and Sec 2 Science, as well as upper secondary Chemistry and Physics tuition for both G3 and IP students, with online and on-site classes available.

All lessons are personally conducted by Mrs Tang, a former MOE teacher with almost 20 years of teaching experience in secondary schools and the enrichment industry. She was also previously the Head of Department (Science) at a leading enrichment centre, where she led the development of the Secondary Science curriculum.

We aim to keep our classes to around 10 students, allowing Mrs Tang to provide personalised attention and guidance while creating a friendly environment where students feel comfortable participating and asking questions.
Yes! Our lessons and teaching materials are aligned with the latest MOE syllabuses and examination requirements. They are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure they remain relevant.
Our lessons combine clear explanations, comprehensive notes and extensive practice to help students build strong foundations, deepen their understanding and improve their answering techniques.
Every lesson is recorded, and all students have digital access to lesson recordings, annotated notes and practice papers with annotated answers, allowing them to revisit explanations and revise at their own pace.
Students receive specially developed Tangs Academy Science and Chemistry textbooks with comprehensive notes and worked examples. Physics students also receive comprehensive learning notes.
Practice papers containing past-year examination questions are provided during lessons, with additional revision materials before examinations.
For online students, all printed materials are delivered by post or courier, so there’s no need for collection or printing!
Different schools may cover topics in a different order. Our comprehensive Tangs Academy textbooks contain all the topics for the year, so students can refer to the relevant chapters for self-study even if we have not covered them in class yet. They can also approach Mrs Tang if they need any help!
We understand that secondary school students have busy schedules with schoolwork and CCAs. Hence, we aim to complete most practice questions during lessons and keep homework manageable. When necessary, students may be assigned a few MCQs or 1–2 structured questions to reinforce their learning without adding too much to their workload.

Of course! ❤️ Students can seek additional guidance through complimentary consultations via WhatsApp, Zoom or in person.
Mrs Tang encourages students to clarify their doubts whenever they need help, so they never have to struggle with difficult concepts alone.
Yes! We conduct complimentary revision sessions and provide additional revision materials to help students consolidate key concepts, strengthen their understanding and prepare confidently for examinations.
Absolutely! Our online and on-site students attend the same live lessons together, receiving the same quality of teaching, comprehensive learning materials and personalised guidance.
Online students can actively participate, ask and answer questions, just like students attending on-site.
For added convenience, all printed lesson materials are delivered directly to students’ homes by post or courier, and lesson recordings are available for revision anytime. Students can enjoy interactive learning from the comfort of their homes, without the need to travel!
Yes! Students are encouraged to maintain their chosen lesson mode for consistency in learning and class arrangements.
However, we understand that schedules and circumstances may change, so we are happy to accommodate occasional switches to online lessons when needed, with prior arrangement with Mrs Tang.
If your child is unable to attend a lesson, please inform Mrs Tang as early as possible.
Lesson recordings are the standard make-up arrangement. Students may also request to attend another class of the same level, subject to availability and prior arrangement with Mrs Tang.
Lesson fees for missed lessons are non-refundable.

Yes! New students can attend a FREE trial lesson to experience our teaching style, learning materials and class environment, with no obligation to enrol.
Simply fill in our FREE Trial Lesson registration form to sign up for a trial lesson, or WhatsApp Mrs Tang at 8068 2794 for any enquiries.
For Sec 1 and 2, lesson fees are $75 (online) and $80 (on-site) per lesson.
For Sec 3 and 4, lesson fees are $85 (online) and $90 (on-site) per lesson.
Fees are payable monthly via PayNow.
A one-time registration fee of $50 and a refundable deposit of $100 apply.

Yes! We offer a 10% sibling discount and a 10% two-subject discount for eligible students.

To withdraw, please inform Mrs Tang at least one month in advance.
Lesson fees remain payable during the one-month notice period, and the $100 deposit will be fully refunded upon completion of the notice period.
